I’m Kristi, and I write books for teens.  Like most writers, I’m also a voracious reader, and if I’m not writing a book or reading a book, I’m probably somewhere online, talking about a book.

The first two books in the Winterhaven series, HAVEN and MIRAGE, are available now from Simon & Schuster/Simon Pulse, and the third/final book in the series, ETERNAL, will be released Fall 2013.  The series is set at the fictional Winterhaven School in New York’s Hudson Valley, a school that’s, well….not like other schools. Think X-Men meets Twilight.  

I’m thrilled to announce that the International Reading Association chose HAVEN as a 2012 Young Adults’ Choices novel!  (click here for more info and the full Choices book list)  Additionally, HAVEN was a finalist in the Best YA category of the 2012 National Readers’ Choice Awards, and is a nominee for YALSA‘s 2013 Popular Paperbacks list.
